1. How to Calculate Percentage Change

Percentage change measures how much a value has increased or decreased relative to the original value. It is one of the most universally useful formulas in mathematics, statistics, finance, and science.

Formula: % Change = ((New Value − Original Value) ÷ Original Value) × 100

If the result is positive → it's an increase. If negative → it's a decrease.
